Growing Old Gorgeously: Tips From Tristan Lee, The Gorgeousness Coach:
Growing Old Gorgeously: Tips From Tristan Lee, The Gorgeousness Coach. It is inevitable that we all have to grow old, but some people don’t realise they are ageing until one day they look in the mirror and realise that they should have taken better care of themselves. All is not lost though - Tristan Lee, The Gorgeousness Coach, who at 48 often gets mistaken for a 25-year-old, has prepared his top tips to help people work on the common complaints, today!
Table Of Contents:
- Firstly, Age Spots.
- Secondly, Eye Bags.
- Thirdly, Lines, Crow’s Feet And Wrinkles.
- Fourthly, Turkey Neck.
- Fifth, Skin Tone.
Age Spots:
If these are dabbed daily with lemon juice they should begin to lighten over the course of two months.
To prevent further age spots, ensure a moisturiser or sun cream with a high SPF is applied daily. Remember, the sun’s rays can still affect the skin in the winter.
Eye Bags:
Secondly, Eye Bags. Bags under the eyes can be a result of insufficient sleep, and swelling is common if a person has been crying. The trick to easing these can be found in the kitchen. Don’t throw out used tea bags, chill them in the fridge and apply them to the eyes.
It is said that the combination of caffeine and coolness increases blood flow which may help to reduce bags.
It is also helpful to sleep slightly propped up as it helps fluid drain away from the eyes instead of collecting there when sleeping flat.
Lines, Crow’s Feet And Wrinkles:
Thirdly, Lines, Crow’s Feet And Wrinkles. Some people embrace their ageing lines as they see them as distinguishing, while others reach for Botox.
The best way to fight these is to ensure you eat natural foods that are rich in antioxidants to fight free radicals.
Also, ensure you’re drinking enough water so the skin is hydrated. Using a moisturiser that contains an SPF of at least factor 30 is another way to keep lines to a minimum.
Turkey Neck:
Fourthly, Turkey Neck. When moisturising, don’t just be kind to your face, extend the love to the neck area too. There are exercises that are good for the chin and neck area so try tilting the head back and puckering lips up towards the ceiling.
Do this ten times a day to stretch and strengthen this vulnerable area.
Skin Tone:
Fifth, Skin Tone. If you are only going to do one thing I would suggest you invest time in a good skincare regime.By ensuring you exfoliate the face daily you will remove dead skin cells and instantly give the skin a brighter, healthier glow.
Dull skin is ageing so wash your face gently, pat dry and remember to moisturise.
For maximum radiance use a facemask once a week and enjoy ten minutes of relaxing on the bed while it rehydrates your personal window to the outside world.
