Wayback Wednesday: Short Hair And A Trip To The Zoo. Hello friends. Happy Wayback Wednesday. So today I am sharing a trip to Twycross Zoo from 2018.

I love promoting zoos and farm parks wherever I can as they are desperately in need of money after the coronavirus.

I would say now more than ever to feed the animals and keep them open so I am trying to support them wherever I can.

I read this sad article online yesterday Twycross Zoo warns of 'mass cull' of animals after missing out on Government funding.

I found it when I was searching for when the zoo would reopen.

Wow, I also found out it costs £650,000 a month to run while closed and they raised just £200,000 through donations during the closure. This is a lot of money and sad times for the zoo.

Today I am sharing some photos of a visit to Twycross Zoo in February 2018. 

It is a zoo I loved visiting and would love to visit more. The animals are so adorable.

Anyway, I did find out that Twycross Zoo is open now if you would like to support them. The penguins, meerkats, and butterflies are among my favourites but I also love big animals like gorillas, tigers, and giraffes too. In fact, I loved seeing them all.

I have plenty more photos to share but I think I will save them for another day as I do not want to overload this post with too many photos. Do you like to visit the zoo and farm parks?
