Day Out In Nottingham: 40+ Style: Polka Dots and Patent Boots.

Hello Friends, happy Monday. How was your weekend? Did you go anywhere fun? Hope you had a lovely Mother's Day?

On Saturday me and my Daughter hopped on the train for a day out in Nottingham.

It feels like ages since we had a girly shopping day in Nottingham. We were off to buy something from my Daughter and Son for Mother's Day.

They asked me what I wanted and chocolates weren't one of them, this year 😉

A nice Spring outfit is what I had in mind.

Nottingham's Council House and Old Market Square selfie.

My favourite spot for taking photos in Nottingham.

Pity the sun was not out.

Awkward!!

Is it just me who feels awkward when trying to take photos and everyone is looking!?

We had a fun day out and both came home with lots of goodies.

My Daughter picked me out some lovely bright green trousers with flowers on and a top to match for me and a nice floral maxi dress.

Photo's coming soon.

Some posts you might have missed:

I love Irregular choice shoes, I have an obsession with them and love to collect them.

It has been so cold over the last few weeks and I have been layering up and wearing my Bright Red Hunter Wellies.

A fun outfit for the zoo.

No, I wasn't trying to look like a gorilla!

Honest.

  10. I've never been to Nottingham. The waterway looks lovely. It's so hard being photographed in a crowd isn't it?! Get an alter ego and give her a name ;O) xx

  12. Nottingham looks like a lovely place and I love that you and your daughter has such a close relationship to do day trips like these. Of course, with that said, I agree that selfies are a must. I do them all the time with my son I think he knows when I am slowly reaching for my back pocket! Nope, I am so awkward all the time when taking a photo. I especially turn into a hermit when there's a lot of people out! 😭 Love your polka dot dress. The white and black color combo will always be a classic and what a great way to wear your patent black booties.

  18. How nice to spend the day with your daughter. You look so alike Claire!
And I'm loving your outfit, you look amazing. I'm dead awkward having photos taken if people are about. My worst one is if you are in a restaurant and you need a shot of the food. I feel such a plonker hehe!

Thanks for sharing with #MMBC. x
